Robert started his career in television as a Producer/Director for Clear Channel TV and CBS affiliates in the mid 90’s. He then pursued his love of the Internet and became a successful serial entrepreneur. Robert began with the launch and sale of Kirium, a leading web e-commerce development company in the mid 90’s. He quickly recognized the growth opportunities in online advertising in the late 90’s and joined and grew Conducent, Inc., a United States focused online advertising network
Robert then integrated Conducent into Oridian Media, an international advertising network to form a global advertising platform and became President. Oridian Media was later successfully sold to Ybrant Digital.
Then in 2007, Robert then founded Kitara Media as CEO, one of the early online display advertising exchange companies and acquired Adotas.com, an online advertising trade publication and grew it to be one of the top three industry publications in the market. Kitara Media achieved explosive growth and aggregate lifetime sales of over $100 Million. Kitara Media launched as a public company in 2013 [KITM]. Robert has expanded and focused Kitara Media towards online video advertising by launching the Propel+ video platform and completing the acquisition of HealthGuru.com in 2014, the largest online health focused video site on the web. Recently, Kitara Media and FutureAds merged to form Propel Media, Inc. (OTCBB:PROM).
Today, Robert and Propel Media continue to focus on innovating and growing in the fast paced online advertising sector and being one of the top leaders in this exciting new vertical.
