About Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's disease primarily affects the elderly, with almost all diagnoses being made after the age of 60. In total, more than 1.5 million Americans suffer from this degenerative movement disorder. The most common symptoms of this disorder include tremors, difficulty balancing, stiff limbs and slower movements. Although the disease is currently incurable, it is not fatal.
