One of the best ways to stress less is to laugh more. Children laugh over 300 times a day, while adults chuckle just 15! Coincidence? Nope! Laugher reduces high levels of the stress hormones epinephrine and adrenaline. If you’re having a hard time seeing the humor in a situation, fake it until you really feel it.  Meanwhile, sketching something distracts your brain from whatever is stressing you out and calms overactive beta brainwaves. No wonder all that mindless sketching during boring meetings makes them feel more bearable! And if you’re not an artist, that’s even better. You’ll have something to laugh really loud about!
